Improving Accessibility of Home-visit Nursing Services


After working at the Osaka Mishima Emergency Medical Center, she worked as an infection control nurse in the Republic of Palau with the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (2000-2002). After returning to Japan, she obtained certification as an infection control nurse and worked at hospitals. Was an assistant professor at Seisen University School of Nursing (2011) and a lecturer at Miyagi University School of Nursing (2021) before assuming her current position in 2021. She is also a board member of NPO Clean Hands, a member of the Japan Disaster Relief Team as an infection control nurse, a board member of the Japanese Society of International Nursing, and a technical expert member of JICA’s Overseas Cooperation Volunteers.
