Yuri Miyamoto

京都大学総合人間学部卒業後、京都大学人間・環境学研究科修士課程を経て、ミシガン大学にてPh.D.(Psychology)を取得。日本学術振興会特別研究員(PD)、ウィスコンシン大学マディソン校心理学部助教授・准教授・教授を経て、現職に至る。社会・文化心理学を専門とし、実験的手法や大規模社会調査を通じて、社会・文化的文脈や社会構造が、認知、感情、健康に与える影響を検証してきた。PIとして、アメリカ国立科学財団(NSF)からの研究助成、国際共同研究加速基金(帰国発展研究)のほか、村田学術振興財団などの研究助成を受けた。Social Psychological and Personality Scienceの副編集長、社会心理学の国際学術誌(Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Science, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Emotion)などの編集委員を歴任。日本心理学会国際奨励賞(2018年)などを受賞。
