2001年聖路加看護大卒、09年に東京大学大学院で保健学博士取得、09年から東京医科歯科大学大学院リプロダクティブヘルス分野特任助教、10年エイズ予防財団リサーチ・レジデントを経て、12年より東京大学大学院国際保健政策学教室助教、13年より国立成育医療研究センター研究所政策開発研究室長、2016年4月より聖路加国際大学大学院看護学研究科、国際看護学教授。 聖路加国際大学国際地域連携センター長、WHOプライマリーヘルスケア看護開発協力センター部長、国際・地域連携センターPCC開発地域連携室部長、コクランジャパンセンター副理事長、コクラン妊娠出産グループのアソシエイトエディターとして活躍している。
