谷口 清州
Kiyosu Taniguchi

1984年三重大学医学部卒業、同大学小児科学教室及び関連病院小児科にて一般小児科および小児感染症の研鑽を積み、1992年ガーナ国野口記念医学研究所プロジェクトリーダーとして国際共同研究を行う。1995年帰国後国立三重病院小児科を経て、1996年国立感染症研究所感染症情報センターにてサーベイランス、ワクチン戦略を含む感染症対策に従事、2000年世界保健機関(WHO)本部感染症対策部にて国際的な感染症サーベイランスとアウトブレイク対応を行う。2002年より国立感染症研究所感染症情報センター第一室長としてSARS、鳥インフルエンザ、パンデミック等国内の感染症危機の技術面を主導した。令和3年より国立三重病院院長に就任。
