Sylffプログラム(ヤングリーダー奨学基金プログラム)TheRyoichiSasakawaYoungLeadersFellowshipFund(Sylff)Sylffは、世界44カ国69大学で、人文社会科学分野を研究する大学院生に奨学金を給付するプログラムです。文化や価値観の違いを乗り越えて、人類に共通する課題を解決する将来のリーダーを育成することをミッションに、プログラム開始から16,000名以上の奨学生(Sylffフェロー)を輩出してきました。プログラム30周年を記念してSylffAssociationを設立し、長期的な視点に立ってリーダー育成を行う観点から、現役・既卒のSylffフェローを対象に、研究・社会貢献活動に資する追加的支援(サポートプログラム)を実施しています。Toidentifyandnurtureleaderswhowillinitiateactiontotranscenddifferencesinnationality,language,ethnicity,religion,andpoliticalsystemsandwhohavetheintegrity,determination,andexpertisetobringaboutpositivesocialchangeinglobalsocietyandthelocalcommunity.MissionTheRyoichiSasakawaYoungLeadersFellowshipFund(Sylff)seekstodevelopsociallyengagedleaderscommittedtocontributingtothehappinessandwell-beingofothers.Sylfffellowsrespectviewpointsthatdifferfromtheirownanddedicatethemselvestopromotingjusticeandunderstanding—helpingdoorsthathadbeenclosedopentonewopportunitiesandabetterfuture.Academicexcellenceisanimportantcriterionforselection,butevenmorecriticalisadesiretoapplyone’sresearchachievementsandexpertiseinaddressingpressingsocialissues.Philosophy社会に貢献するリーダーを育てるhttps://www.sylff.orgよりよい社会を目指し、将来を担う人材の育成に力を入れています7
