沖 大幹 Taikan Oki

東京大学工学部卒業、博士(工学)、気象予報士。総合地球環境学研究所助教授などを経て、2006年より東京大学教授。2016-21年には国際連合大学上級副学長、国際連合事務次長補を兼務。地球規模の水文学および世界の水資源の持続可能性を研究。気候変動に関わる政府間パネル(IPCC)第5次評価報告書統括執筆責任者、国土審議会委員ほかを務めた。ローマクラブ正会員、日本学術会議会員。生態学琵琶湖賞、日経地球環境技術賞、日本学士院学術奨励賞、アメリカ地球物理学連合フェロー、国際水文学賞Doogeメダルなど表彰多数。書籍に『SDGsの基礎』(共著)、『水の未来』(岩波新書)、『東大教授』(新潮新書)など。
